Lottie E. Porch is an award winning actor, writer, educator, director and producer for stage and screen. For over thirty years Ms. Porch has shared her talents in the realms of performing arts, written word, and cultural education. Whether she is acting on stage, publishing written works, teaching students in an African village, or singing at a late night set at a jazz club – Lottie Porch brings her creativity to all aspects of her life and work.
Lottie is a performing artist and educator who has devoted her career to building spaces for creative expression, education, and empowerment. Porch has worked with primary, secondary and university students from around the world. Her passion for writing, theater and visual arts enlightens as much as it entertains.
Porch has written award winning poems, plays, and short stories that have been published and performed extensively. Her awards and fellowships include; Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award, Geraldine Dodge Foundation, Vermont Studio Center, and Provincetown Arts Center. She studied with the former New York State Poet Laureate, Sharon Olds, at the Paris Writers Workshop.
